Middle Distance

The Fairground.  The fair was at Ocean Terminal, from April 3 to April 13, for Easter 2009.

Background

A traditional dockyard scene, looking to the east across Leith Docks  -  cranes, sheds, grain storage and shipping.

At the upper right corner there is a branch of Bank of Scotland, standing beside Victoria Dock, with new apartments behind at the eastern end of Ocean Drive, close to the Constitution Street entrance to Leith Docks
