Mayfield terminus  -  Route 3/3A

Mayfield is about 3 miles SE of Dalkeith in Midlothian, and about 10 miles SE of the centre of Edinburgh.

The bus terminus at Mayfield is in Bogwood Road on the southern edge of the estate.  Here, the No 3 bus has just arrived at Mayfield and is waiting in Westhouses Road.  When the bus in front departs from the terminus, this one will move ahead and turn right  into Bogwood Road, then wait at the terminus bus stop.

There is open land behind the bus, to the SE, with only isolated houses between here and Coldstream in the Scottish Borders, just over 30 miles away.

The  3/3A route is branded:

 'Club Class - across the city & midlothian'

Buses on the route have yellow roofs and a black '3 of Clubs'  with the words 'Club Class'.
