'Airlink'

Route No 100 is the Edinburgh Airport - City Centre 'Airlink' service.  The buses on this service have a distinctive blue and white livery.  The service operates every 10 minutes throughout most of the day.  The journey time is 25 minutes.

Waverley Bridge

The buses can be seen here at their stance on Waverley Bridge, close to Princes Street and opposite the western entrance to Edinburgh Waverley railway station.

The Royal Mile, part of Edinburgh Old Town is on the high ground behind the buses.

The two buses in the background are tour buses.  The starting point for the open top bus tours of Edinburgh is Waverley Bridge,  a short distance in front of the stance that the Airlink buses leave from.

Bus Liveries

The buses in this photo are painted in the blue livery that was used for buses on the Airlink service (Route 100) until mid-2010.  They have now been repainted in the standard livery for Lothian Buses, and are being used mainly on Service 34 between Ocean Terminal and Edinburgh Airport.

In mid-2010, a new batch of buses was delivered for the Airlink service (Route 100).  These newer buses are painted in a new-style, lighter blue livery.
