Newhaven terminus  -  Route 10

Extended Route

The northern terminus of Route 10 used to be at Pier Place, on the southern edge of Newhaven Harbour

However, in April 2008, the route was extended about 3/4 mile to the NE along West Harbour Drive, beside the new apartments recently constructed there.

Leith Western Harbour

This photo was taken from one of the multi-storey car parks at the Ocean Terminal shopping and entertainment complex at Leith Docks.  It looks across Leith Western Harbour towards the new terminus of Route 10, about half a mile away.  The Firth of Forth and the coast and hills of Fife can be seen in the background.

The new apartments that can be seen in this photo are (left to right):

-  The Element

Some of the  land between these apartments and Western Harbour in this photo is to be landscaped to create a park.

Cruise Liner Berth

The quay on the left of this photo is the berth for cruise liners visiting Edinburgh.  Here is one of them, 'Black Prince'.
