King's Road terminus  -  Route 19

Terminus

Here the bus on route 19 is just arriving at Portobello from Granton.  It is about to turn left for a few yards into Portobello Road to King's Road Roundabout.  The roundabout can be seen marked on the large road sign, but it is now (June 2008 onwards) being converted to traffic lights.

After completing the route to Portobello, the buses turn left at King's Road Roundabout then right into the yard outside Lothian Buses' Seafield bus depot where they wait for a few minutes until it's time to start their return journey to Granton.

The first stop on the return journey is the stop on the left in Wakefield Road in the photograph above.

The bus in this photo has already had its destination blind set for Granton, before reaching Portobello.
