The Terminus The Gyle Centre is a shopping centre close to the Edinburgh-Glasgow road and the Edinburgh bypass, about 5 miles west of the centre of Edinburgh. It was built on a 50 acre site and opened in 1993. |

The Routes
Lothian Buses routes 2,12,18, 21 and 22 all terminate at Gyle
Centre. Route 21 is now (in 2010) normally operated by single-decker buses, but this photo shows a single decker, followed by a double-decker, painted in Lothian Buses new livery (madder, white and gold) on a part-route service to Duke Street Here is another view of the double-decker: |
