Here are two buses
waiting beside the cherry tree at Restalrig terminus. The
photo was taken in April 2009.
The rear bus in this
photo is in the 'original' harlequin livery adopted by Lothian
Buses in the 1990s. Note the large number of small diamonds
on this livery, as the pattern comes to a point near the front of
the bus.
The livery was later
changed to that on the front bus, as a cost saving measure.
There are now fewer diamonds and no small diamonds.
This view looks to the
west down Restalrig Avenue. One of the floodlights of
Hibernian ('Hibs') football ground can be seen at the top-left of
this photo. |
