Mayfield terminus - Route 29 |

Mayfield is about 3 miles SE of Dalkeith in Midlothian, and about 10 miles SE of the centre of Edinburgh. The bus terminus at Mayfield is in Bogwood Road on the southern edge of the estate. There is open land to the south between Mayfield and Gorebridge, about two miles away, then the Moorfoot Hills. |

The No 29 service runs from Silverknowes, on the Firth of Forth to the west of Edinburgh. It was extended in January 2007 to reach Mayfield. As for almost all Lothian Buses bus routes, there is now, at April 2007, a flat fare of £1 for any journey on this service. |
