Terminus The terminus at Balerno is at the SE corner of the town, at the foot of the Pentland Hills, on the corner of Cockburn Crescent and Mansfield Road. The road in the background in this photo is Mansfield Road. Following the line of trees out of the photo on the right leads to the Pentland Hills |

Buses The bus in the centre of this photo is painted what was then the livery for Route 44 - one of Lothian Buses' playing card themes. It was their Diamond' Service: Service with a Sparkle. The buses had black roofs. This livery has now been replaced by the Mill Race livery with grey roofs. |
