The Terminus
On a previous visit to
Pencaitland terminus, I found that no buses were due to arrive there for a few hours.
The route normally
went as far as Wallyford, but in the evenings
and on Sundays it runs through to Pencaitland, about five miles SE
of Tranent in East Lothian.

So I returned at 5pm on Sunday July 29, 2007 and took this

then again at 7.30pm on August 9, 2007 and took the photograph
at the top of this page. Th photo was taken looking back
down the little lane that leads into the forest at the bus
terminus, towards the main road that leads from Pencaitland to
Gifford. |
