The No 49 bus waits here at the Danderhall terminus at Edmonstone Road, having arrived from Asda supermarket at The Jewel. When this photo was taken in April 2007, buses ran from The Jewel to Danderhall every 20 minutes. Every third bus then went on to the terminus at Rosewell. The large house in the background of this picture is a private house. The barrel-shaped structure in front of the house, seen over the garden wall in this picture, is a dovecot. |
