The Terminus This view looks to the south down Canning Street towards the Western Approach Road. The Head Office of Standard Life at the corner of Lothian Road and the Western Approach Road is a short distance to the west (left) out of the picture. The offices of Standard Life Bank are straight ahead on the south side of the Western Approach Road. |

The Route This route used to be a private service for the staff of Standard Life who wished to travel between the company's offices in Edinbrugh. It has now become one of MacTours' services operated by their subsidiary MacTours as route 61, but is still well patronised by Standard Life staff. Standard LIfe's four largest offices in Edinburgh are all on or close to this route. They are at Lothian Road, Brandon Terrace and the east end of George Street |
