Straiton Park and Ride - Route X47 |

The Route The 'Park and Ride' car park on the west side of Straiton Road, close to IKEA opened on October 5, 2008. Buses on Routes 47 and X47 call in there to drop down and pick up passengers on their route between Penicuik and Granton via the centre of Edinburgh.. There are also four buses on Route X47 each weekday, during the morning rush hour, that start their journey to Granton at Straiton 'Park and Ride'. |

The Photo This photo was taken from the top deck of a Route 47 bus as it called into Straiton 'Park and Ride' at 4.05pm on Christmas Eve 2009. By that time most of the commuters had gone home, and there were very few cars left in the car park. |
