Thank you to Ian Thomson for sending me this photograph of Murrayburn School, Sighthill. Ian wrote: "This is a photo was taken during the 1940s at Murrayburn School, Sighthill. Half the class, like myself, came from Carrick Knowe. I wonder where they all are now - all over the world? I am in the back row, 4 from the right. " Ian added: "It would be good if a classmate should fill in some of the '?'s. - Isobel and Winnie Henderson were twins. - Nora and Pat Lethany were twins. - Sheila Todd lived two doors away from me. - Agnes Small lived in the same street as me. - Lily Shaw lived in the farm between Carrick Knowe and Sighthill, long since gone. - Malcolm MacSween met Syd Shepherd in the Army in Hong Kong. - Innes Nisbet came to Aussie: last heard of in New Zealand - Sandy Jack died as a young man. - My pal, Malcolm MacSween, passed away a few months ago in Kinlochleven."
