"I'm sure that I am the boy towards the left wearing the diagonal stripe tie.  I recognise the sticky out right ear and hair style and colour. 

There is no way my mother would have sent me to such an auspicious occasion without being well dressed in my jacket and my St Mary's school tie, blue on white diagonal stripes."

Maran's Ice Cream Shop

"I believe the party was paid for my Maran's ice cream shop in Rodney Street.  I am told that they had won a large sum on the pools. 

I don't know why I was at this party.   We did not go to the Bellevue Chapel.   Maybe Ian Scott can throw more light on this. 

I commented about this party previously and it is great to see a picture of it and proves my mind is not playing tricks.
