Strathcarron lies at the eastern end of Loch Carron, on the line from Inverness. There are a further five stations to pass through heading west before reaching the end of the line at Kyle of Lochalsh. The train in this photo is heading from Kyle of Lochalsh to Inverness. There is a hotel beside the station, but few other buildings nearby. |
