Bogston

Bogston is on the southern shore of the Firth of Clyde, close to the former shipbuilding yards at Greenock.  Cranes from these yards can be seen in the background.

A frequent rail service from Glasgow passes through Port Glasgow, Bogston and Greenock.  The line terminates at Gourock where a ferry crosses the Clyde to Dunoon, once a popular holiday resort for Glaswegians.
