Bo'ness

Bo'ness lies on the Firth of Forth to the West of Edinburgh.  It is the home of the Scottish Railway Preservation Society.

SRPS operates long distance rail tours in Scotland to Kyle of Lochalsh and other destinations.  It also operates steam and diesel trains from Bo'ness to Birkhill where visitors can tour the local fireclay mine.

The old engine shed built at Haymarket Station, Edinburgh, in the 1840s has been dismantled and reconstructed at Bo'ness station.

Here, the shadows make interesting patterns on the platform as a young passenger passes an old station trolley.
