Kyle of Lochalsh

Kyle of Lochalsh station is situated beside the ramp for the ferry for the short crossing to Kyleakin in Skye.  This once-busy Ferry now no longer operates.  It has been replaced by the Skye Road Bridge, originally with tolls, now free.

This view of the station looks from the south, over the ropes and lobster post towards the station with a boat at the end of one of the platforms.

Hills in Skye can be seen in the background.
