Aviemore is a popular ski resort in the winter, though in recent rears there has been a shortage of snow. The photograph above was taken in July 2005 during a period when 'Thomas the Tank Engine' steam trains on the preserved railway line between Aviemore and Boat of Garten were sharing the station with the main line from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Inverness. |
