The View This view looks to the south from Morningside Road. The two roads leading up the hill beyond the clock are: - on the left: Braid Road. - on the right: Comiston Road. The wall on the left is part of the bridge over the Edinburgh Suburban railway line. The clock is still in the middle of the road, but the trams and the passenger trains on the Edinburgh Suburban line have not run since the mid-20th century. |

Date? When might this photo have been taken? The cars in this photo suggest to me that the photo may have been taken some time around 1930, but I may be wrong. |
