on 19 July 1926 from Edinburgh to Carlisle, with the message:
"I expect Mother will
have told you that we are spending our holiday here. I'm
sorry we couldn't call and see you on our way up, but the
trains are so bad.
We are leaving here
next Sat and should pass through C. about 12.30. I will
look out for you but I expect it will be your dinner time.
Hope you are keeping well." |
