This is one of many new road signs that appeared on roads in the New Town of Edinburgh in 2005 as the Central Edinburgh Traffic Management scheme was introduced. This view is on the approach from Princes Street to the confusing roundabout at the junction of Hanover Street and George Street. The 'All other traffic' sign is at an angle and partly hidden behind a pole with no sign on top. The 'Pedestrian Zone' sign refers to traffic turning left into Rose Street., not traffic heading straight ahead. |
