Lauriston Place

On the corner of Middle Meadow Walk and Lauriston Place

This photo was taken from Lauriston Place, at the northern end of Middle Meadow Walk, looking towards the former Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The closest box is a reproduction Police Box, made of wood and mounted on a trailer.  The box in the background is one of the original Edinburgh Police Boxes, still in place but not used  by the  Police for many years.  It is made of heavy metal.
