By the time that this photo was taken, in March 2006, most of the houses in Niddrie Mains Drive had been demolished. There were still houses standing, many now unoccupied in some of the surrounding streets on the south side of Niddrie Mains Drive. This view looks to the NW towards the old building, with Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park hidden behind it. Mist and rain was approaching as this photo was taken. The sky brightened again a few minutes later. |
