Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last book in a seven-book series by J K Rowling went on sale at midnight on 20/21 July 2007 at several branches of Waterstone's Book Shop and elsewhere in Edinburgh.

Here, 20 minutes after the books went on sale, the queue from Waterstone's shop at the East End of Princes Street can be seen stretching along the eastern side of Saint Andrew Square.
