Route No 100 is the Edinburgh Airport - City Centre 'Airlink' service.  This service operates every 10 minutes throughout most of the day.  The journey time is 25 minutes.

Waverley Bridge

This bus can be seen here at its stance on Waverley Bridge, close to Princes Street and opposite the western entrance to Edinburgh Waverley railway station.

The building, on higher ground, to the right of the bus in this photo was the Head Office of Bank of Scotland (now HBoS) on The Mound.

Bus Liveries

This is one of a new batch of buses, delivered in mid-2010 for the Airlink service (Route 100).  These buses are painted in a new-style, lighter blue livery.

Their features include:

-  cleaner emissions with euro 5 engines

-  leather seats

-  next stop information

-  free wi-fi.

Passing the Airlink bus in this photo is one of the newly-painted single decker 'cleaner emission' buses on Route 36 on its journey from Holyrood to Ocean Terminal.
