Pipers - 2 This group, with their pipes and drums, gathered on the grass area above the Waverley Market (Princes Mall) at the east end of Princes Street on the first weekend of the Edinburgh Festival, 2003. They soon attracted a large crowd. Buildings in the Old Town of Edinburgh, leading up Cockburn Street from Market towards St Giles church (upper right) can be seen in the background. |
