Bus Depot - Washing the Bus Here is an early Edinburgh Corporation Leyland single deck bus, delivered in 1920 or 1921. The washing equipment with sprays from above and from the sides looks impressive for the period. The bus has a destination board that reads "Waverley & Juniper Green via Slateford". Juniper Green is several miles to the south-west of central Edinburgh, and was well beyond the reach of the tram network. |
