HMS Edinburgh visits to Leith Docs

HMS Edinburgh's  most recent visit to Leith Docks was for a week from 15 May 2013,  billed as being the final visit before decommission.

Petition

A petition has now been created, demanding that "HMS Edinburgh be kept as a tourist attraction in Leith Docks, beside Royal Yacht Britannia."

Please click on this HM Government e-petition web page to read more about the petition and to sign it.  The commission will remain open until February 28, 2014. 

I see that, so far, 1,055 people have signed this petition.  If the number of signatures reaches 100.000, it could be debated in the House of Commons.
