I
have found no evidence of Annual Dinners
during this period.
1960s
It
was reported in 1960 that Dinners had "started again after a
break". They continued throughout the 1960s.
1970s
Most,
possibly all,
Dinners were held at Edinburgh Zoo - in the Fellows’ House,
Zoological Gardens
1980s
During
the 1980s, Dinners were discontinued due to falling numbers.
1990s
Dinners
for all EPS Members were not held, but the tradition of dining with Judges
for the EPS International Exhibition continued. A group of about 20
EPS Members from the Exhibition Committee dined with the three Judges each
year at the end of the 2nd day of judging.
Some
years the Dinner was in Edinburgh; other years it was further
afield. |
