The
Cinematograph
In
1900, the cinematograph included scenes in connection with the War in
South Africa in which Britain was then engaged.
The
Final Popular Meeting
The
Final popular Meeting was held on 15 March 1901.
This was the only Popular Meeting of the 1900-01 season.
It
was another meeting to showing, by the lime-light, a series of
transparencies from EPS Members, with several intervals for concert and music.
There
were also cinematograph
shows during the evening included some recent events, notably:

an International Rugby Football Match played at Blackheath on the
preceding Saturday

a number of animated views of the funeral of Queen Victoria
who died on 22 January 1901.
