Access to the EdinPhoto web site - Problems resolved It took a little longer than expected for FastHosts to resolve the problems. However, the site appeared to come back to life again at about 10pm today. You and I should now be able to use the site again. I've now been using FastHosts to host the web site since it was launched, 13 years ago. I've been pleased with the service they have offered over this period, and hope that all works well from here on.! More Updates I'll continue updating the web site from tomorrow onwards. I hope to add more of my own photos to the web site over the next couple of weeks as I prepare for two talks that I'll be giving in Edinburgh, one in late-November, the other in early-December. EdinPhoto web site - Problems at the Host Site You may have had problems accessing the EdinPhoto web site today. Unfortunately, FastHosts (the company that hosts the EdinPhoto web site) has discovered problems with some of their servers. In order to fix these problems, they took down many sites including the EdinPhoto site at about 11am today. FastHosts hope that all will be working well by tomorrow am, 19 Nov. Passwords are not Required! For about 7 hrs, beginning at around 12.30 am, people trying to access the EdinPhoto web site were being asked to give a password and username. Thank you to the three people who emailed me to tell me about this.
It was not a change that I initiated.
