I have found your website most enlightening

Many years ago I bought a Phillimore painting at a market stall and have not been able to get much information on the artist until now. 

I had been told by the then Philips Auction House that he was a listed artist but much more than that they failed to tell me.

The painting above is painted on A4 size, heavy paper and the edges are rough. 

On the back is stamped the 'The Phillimore Club'.
