Here are the fronts and backs of a carte de visite by George Inglis, produced between 1861 and 1864 in his studio at 78 South Clerk Street, formerly the studio of J G Tunny

The back with its small name and address is typical of cartes de visite of the early 1860s.

Cartes de visite are small photographs mounted on card measuring about 3.5 ins x 2.25 ins.
