Here is a roughly cut postcard portrait from the studio of Jerome. In common with other Jerome postcards, it is not clear which of their studios produced this portrait. The card gives no name of any town, merely saying 'Studios Everywhere' This card was handed into a charity shop together with two others, one from the studio of Coltart, Edinburgh and Leith, and the other from a London studio. The Jerome postcard is dated 25 Feb 1931, so it seems unlikely that his will have come from their Edinburgh studio. The Jerome Edinburgh studio first appeared in the trade directories in 1934. |
