John Lamb's Son

I did not really expect to receive an answer to the question above, but Nick Reeves replied:

"I'm fairly confident that the gentleman standing at the top right-hand side in this photo is my great grandfather, John Lamb's son.

Unfortunately, I probably know no more of my family's history than you do.  Hopefully I will be able to rectify that soon."
