Several post cards were produced in the early years of the 20th century, bearing the name The Post Card Bureau, 106 Princes Street on the front. Those I have seen were all posted between 1903 and 1907. |

The Esplanade in front of Edinburgh Castle is a parade ground 510 ft. long and 300 ft. broad. This was rough ground until 1753. A parapet and railings were added on the northern side (the right in the photo above) in 1689. A few years later a low wall was added on the southern side. |
