it was reported that the Excise House
had moved to these less expensive premises in Drummond Place
(in the engraving above) from their previous home, once occupied
by the late Laurence Dundas, on the eastern side of St Andrew
Square.
The building, in St
Andrew Square was sold by the Excise Office to the
Royal Bank of Scotland.
