Excise Office  -  Drummond Place

In Modern Athens, published 1829, it was reported that the Excise House had moved to these less expensive premises in  Drummond Place (in the engraving above) from their previous home, once occupied by the late Laurence Dundas, on the eastern side of St Andrew Square.

The building, in St Andrew Square was sold by the Excise Office to the Royal Bank of Scotland.
