Here, a  No 8 bus travels up Craigour Avenue soon after leaving its terminus at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The blue bungalow in this photo is 14 Craigour Avenue, one of the 1940s prefab bungalows that has survived to 2008, now surrounded by more modern, larger houses.
