This view looks out of the park through its western entrance at St Leonard's.

This photograph was taken on January 3, 2008, the first day that snow fell in Edinburgh during the winter of 2007-08.

The large stone seen here on the right is beside the road.  Looking from the other direction a 'Clearway' sign can be seen resting on the rock.  This is probably thought more appropriate for a Royal Park than a mounting the sign on a pole.
