This view looks to the south, across Newhaven Harbour towards Pier Place. The steeple of Old St Andrew's Church (formerly Old Newhaven Church) can be seen in Pier Place. This church has now been converted for use as an indoor rock climbing centre. The red building on the left is the old fishmarket, now converted to: - Harry Ramsden fish restaurant (closed) - Newhaven Heritage Museum - Newhaven Fishmarket (now comprises about a third of the building. |
