Thank you to Robin Brown, Tranent, East Lothian, for sending me the black + white photograph above. After seeing my 1980 photograph of the petrol pump on the web site, Robin wrote to tell me that the pump was still in position at Peebles. Robin wrote: "I popped round at 7.30 this morning and took a picture of it. No doubt I'll take some more. The shot is in colour but I wanted to try it out in black & white.
