White Sheds and Gasometers

Edinburgh Waterfront was until recently an area dominated by Granton Gas Works,  small industries, wasteland. 

Here, the gasometers can be seen on a misty day, across an area of wild flowers, with just a couple of old sheds in the foreground.  These were amongst the first buildings to be removed when the clearance of the Waterfront site began in 2002.
