This deserted house with its fencing over a window and crooked chimney pots stood on the northern side of West Shore Road, almost opposite the gasometers. It was the only house in the neighbourhood, amongst the the few isolated remains industry when this photograph was taken. The house has now vanished [June 2004]. |
