Development about to take place These two photos were taken from the northern edge of the central roundabout at Granton Square, looking to the north up Middle Pier. |

Future Developments This scene is due to change dramatically as building work takes place - part of the Edinburgh Waterfront developments. Pile driving machinery has already arrived at the end of Middle Pier, in preparation for these developments. The open outlook from the square across Granton Eastern Harbour towards the island of Inchkeith in the Firth of Forth (behind the tree in the top picture) is soon to be lost. |
