Greyfriars Bobby's Bar At the top of Candlemaker Row |
Greyfriars Bobby's Bar, with its picture of Greyfriars' Bobby above the door and penny farthing cycle on the wall, is situated at the top of Candlemaker Row. Just across the road, on the corner of Candlemaker Row and George IV Bridge is the statue to Greyfriars' Bobby, as can be seen in this photo, which was taken three years earlier, when Greyfriars Bobby's Bar was painted red. Greyfriars' Bobby is buried in Greyfriars' Graveyard, just behind the bar in this photo. |
This postcard briefly tells the story of Greyfriars' Bobby, a Skye terrier. |
Greyfriars' bobby is buried in the graveyard of Greyfriars' Church, situated just behind Greyfriars Bobby's Bar. |
