Route 35

Route 35 runs from Ocean Terminal, beside the Firth of Forth at Leith, to Edinburgh Airport.   Here is a bus on Route 35 waiting to depart from Ocean Terminal.

Buses on Route 35 do not take the most direct route to the airport.  They go via the Royal Mile, Slateford and Edinburg Park.

Choice of Routes

Journey times for Route 35 from Ocean Terminal to Edinburgh Airport are about 80 minutes, compared to 25 minutes for Route 100, the direct Airlink service that operates between the centre of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport..

When Edinburgh's new trams commence, they will run direct from Ocean Terminal to Edinburgh Airport.  The tram service is due to commence in 2011.
