Here, the runners approach the '17 Mile' marker from West Shore Road at Granton. This section of the course runs along the Firth of Forth from Silverknowes through Newhaven and Leith Harbour to Portobello. All the land in the background of this picture, including the lighthouse forms 'Edinburgh Waterfront', an area being developed over a period of 15 years from 2003. |
